Gloria integrates and draws from these treatment modalities to provide the most effective treatment for each individual client. It is a collaborative experience that can change as goals are achieved and new ones are identified.

Gloria has found that her clients grow and find relief from symptoms related to Depression, Anxiety/ Panic, Complex Trauma and PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Eating Disorder, Grief/ Loss, significant life transitions and acculturation. Clients gain useful skills as well as insight into themselves and their relationships.


Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

A classic approach that is insight-oriented and looks to the past and relationships to help increase understanding of the self and, ultimately, to restore vitality.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy looks at relationship between thoughts, emotions and actions as a way to understand and change behavior. It’s action-oriented and focused on the present.

AF-EMDR

Attachment Focused Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing is a trauma recovery tool that uses bilateral stimulation to help reduce troubling effects of traumatic events.
